Monsegur : A bastide town dating from the 13th century overlooking the Dropt Valley. Notable features are the church and the market hall dominating the central square. The defensive ramparts offer the chance to walk around the town while enjoying the attractive views of the Dropt Valley.

Sainte Foy la Grande : One of the oldest bastide towns dating from the 18th century with huge arched medieval bays. Stroll along the narrow sunny streets bordering the Dordogne river. Nearby other historical and prehistorical sites.
